Ardgroom Stables is a family-run business that breeds and produces sport horses to a top-class level. The Lowney family originates from Ardgroom, a village on the Beara Peninsula in County Cork, Ireland. The name Ardgroom refers to two gravelly hills deposited by a glacier, Dromárd and Drombeg. The village lies to the northwest of Glenbeg Lough, overlooking the Kenmare River estuary, and is situated between the coast and the Slieve Miskish Mountains.

At Ardgroom Stables, only the finest horses are selected to be developed into top-class show jumpers. Ardgroom Stables is located in the heart of Kildare, the home of top-class horses in Ireland. Our equine farm caters to best-in-class equine.
